What a delightful place! Imaginations can run wild in this place! My husband attended grade school in this spacious building, so they creatively turned classroom spaces into a village of shops and experiences for young children. Nothing is off limits, everything can be touched and played with ease because it's all at the right height! If you're traveling with young children this place is a must! They can burn off lots of energy and learn things at the same time!

SDSU Dairy Sales Bar

My son and I toured SDSU and received coupons for the dairy bar. I expected it to be very small with only vanilla, though I don't know where I came up with that. Instead, it was like being in a regular ice cream shop...lots of flavors and options, seating, and very reasonable pricing. Definitely worth a stop!

Sometimes small towns are lacking in the arts - but not Brookings. And one fine example is the SD Art Museum. The Museum is located on the SDSU campus and always has interesting exhibits. Additionally, the attached gift shop carries many items crafted by South Dakota artists.

What an amazing stadium it is! Beautiful, efficient when standing in line for food, but more importantly there were enough ladies bathrooms! Both times, then was no line for the ladies room (& ladies you know how important and out of the normal that is) Finally a stadium that built enough ladies restrooms ;)

We were at the Styx and REO concert March 16, 2018. The sound was good and the beer lines fast, however we had to wait in a long line just to get in the venue and getting out of the parking lot took far too long. You really need to get at least one more entrance into the building and at least one, if not two more ways to get in and out of the parking lot.
