Brasschaat (Dutch pronunciation: [brɑˈsxaːt]) is a municipality located in Flanders, one of the three regions of Belgium, and in the Flemish province of Antwerp. The municipality only comprises the town of Brasschaat proper. In November 2006, Brasschaat won the LivCom-Award 2006 for the most liveable municipality in the world.

I regularly stay in this area and this farm provides an great setting for meeting people whilst keeping the kids perfectly happy.
It has a little play area, a woodland path, plenty of space for kids to run around and of course the animals. For the adults there is the relaxing Terrace outside from where you can easily keep an eye on the kids whilst enjoying your beverage of choice. The cafe also provides a good choice of snacks.

This small shop has recently been completely revamped and is stuffed with the finest cheeses one could ever find. Very friendly staff, with good taste and excellent product knowledge. A must for cheese lovers.

Militairy musea where you can find the artillery, some small aircrafts of the Light aviaton and armour vehicules. Every thuesday en thursday, between april and oktober the 1 we are open between 13 hr and 116 Hr. In this period we open every first sunday of the month between 10 and 18 hours.

Because the military vehicles are located in a huge place and cannot be put in the Military Museum in Brussels, this is the place to go to on the way between Amsterdam and Paris if you cannot stop in Brussels (Antwerp is a lot nicer to see!)

Dit gemeentehuis lijkt meer op een kasteel. Het is een prachtig ontwerp en zeker de moeite waard om het te bekijken.

We wandelden vanaf Casa Ametza een route die 5 kilometer lang was.
er waren voldoende zitbanken om even op adem te komen. een groene oase, waar je tot rust komt. leuk parcours waar je het bochtige parcours van Laarse beek volgt.
info bij toerisme Brasschaat waar je specifiek naar brochure wandelroutes 'rolwagenvriendelijk' moet vragen. de loketbediende was van goede wil , maar niet zo op de hoogte van rolstoeltoegankelijke wandelroutes. (kijk dus zelf in brochure, want ze kost geld en je moet specifiek letten op woord 'rolwagenvriendelijk')
het parcours is rolstoeltoegankelijk mits de begeleider wat helpt want sommige stukken zijn niet zo vlot berijdbaar (of met veel afgevallen bladeren). zeker als het geregend zou hebben, dan is een stevige rolwagenbegeleider een must.

Doskonale miejsce na wspólną rozrywkę z dzieciakami. Nie ma dużych kolejek co nie jest męczące jak w niektórych tego typu miejscach. Można zamówić też coś do zjedzenia na szybko i jakieś napoje
