While the city of Bontoc don’t have much to offer tourist, the museums absolutely worth the trip 35min from Sagada. The museum contains an ethnographic collection artifacts from of the tribes - from headhunters trophies to musical instruments and everyday tools and a big collection of photographs many from 1909 and an outdoor mini village with traditional houses. Highly recommend - please note the one hour lunch break from 12-1pm

just a few kilometers away from the boundary of Banaue. you can see the view of the bayyo rice terraces from the road or highway
