Karijini National Park

We spent 3 night in a spacious, quiet site in Dales Gorge Campground. Everywhere we visited in Karijini NP was beautiful from the spectacular view to excellent walks and hikes. The visitor centre is about 10 km from Dales Campground, it has free wifi and a shower. In the overflow area near the Information centre you can dispose of rubbish and obtained some water. I personally loved the Dales Gorge round trip hike down to Fortesque falls, Fern Pool, walked through the Gorge to Stunning Circular Pool then climbed approximately 100 metres up, out of the Gorge. Also the view at Oxer Lookout is stunning. There are plenty of toilets throughout the NP and parking plus at Weano Gorge there is a picnic area. There is some dirt, corrugated roads into Weano and Hancock Gorges. No Telstra. Highly recommend.

Hancock Gorge

This hike was tough. During the challenging hike we visited Hancock Gorge, Spider Walk and Kermit Pool. Sometimes the trail goes steeply downhill, there are natural steps and some loose rocks. We also had to climb down or horizontal through the narrow gorge. Everything was included. The hike was quite adventures and part of it difficult. It is not a problem if you are fit and sure-footed. Good shoes and enough water are necessary and don't forget your swimming gear. The hike was amazing.

HeliSpirit

You’ll be astonished at the picturesque views of the Dampier Archipelago and the stunning blue water when viewed from our helicopter. The contrast between the bright white beaches and the rugged Pilbara landscape is a breathtaking sight. Keep an eye out for turtles, manta rays, dugongs and a range of other marine life. Take a scenic flight, experience an exhilarating heli-dive or land on a remote island for a private picnic.

Dales Gorge Campground

This is a great campground. The sites are spacious and there are good toilets. It's well situated to do some of the walks and visit some of the park's attractions. Our only problem was that tourists (often young people in rental vehicles) drive too fast around the camp, continually stirring up so much dust.

Joffre Gorge

Reviewed By NomadsPassport - Sydney, Australia

The gorge might not be as pretty and as great for swimming, but it is amazing! The first part of the hike is really easy until you reach a point with a steep cliff that is more than 10 m high. If you are confident enough in your ability, I can only recommend climbing down. The view once you stand in the arena-like area at the bottom of the (usually just dripping) waterfall is 100% worth it. Climbing down the cliff (please mind the signs that show you the correct route) is so much fun and a real challenge!
