This is an important part of the city, stretching from the Civic Center through the historic African American Western Addition, now totally gentrified, and then on to Buena Vista Park, with all the beautiful buildings, and then the Haight with all the craziness which still exists, sort of. Lots to see and experience.

I happened to walk to this park while in San Fransisco this time. The park has a lot of ways to climb up to the top. The area on the top is a good place to meditate. The view is blocked because of the trees but you still get a good view. When you get down, you can go to the Height street where there are a lot of restaurants and shops.
