We work closely with Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) and other management organisations to ensure that our outdoor activities are fully permitted and environmentally sound. Our reputation for high quality outdoor experiences has been built on low instructor to participant ratios, meaning you get more time to do the rad stuff! Group bookings, team building activities can be organised on request. Here at Team Pinnacle, we love all things vertical and we’re looking forward to sharing our passion with you.

Settlement Cove

We decided to go Settlement Cove for a splash. It was such a nice spot and our granddaughter just loved the kids area. It was a hot day and we found a picnic table in the shade. After playing and swimming we decided to get fish and chips across the road for lunch. It is such a pretty swimming area and it is so great that there are lifeguards on patrol. There are showers and toilets and bbqs to use. Great place to spend a day.

Mt Coot-tha

Beautiful lookout near the summit of the mountain where you can see a spectacular view of Brisbane. We've visited here a few times on different occasions. In my opinion, Brisbane looks beautiful no matter on the weather. Even when we came on a stormy afternoon, Brisbane looked so beautiful amongst the grey clouds. The best is when we came on sunset as we got a beautiful photo of ourselves with the pink skyline and bustling city lights beginning to shine in all their colours. I recommend to park at the JC waterfalls car park and do a walk up to the lookout on the mahogany trail. It takes about 40 minutes to an hour depending on your fitness levels. It's really fun and we did it as a date which was really romantic! You can reward yourselves with a drink or dinner at the cafe or restaurant at the lookout and enjoy the views for a while before heading back down on the summit track, (it's so fast to get back down compared to walking up!). There are also botanical gardens which may be worth a visit if you're into that, located at the bottom of the mountain.

A rarity to find a free attraction. Excellent Koala centre, live animals, two information sessions per day and typical Aussie bushland. A good half day trip.
