Excellent trip to Hwange with Taylor's Africa. Incredible sightings of lion, sable bulls fighting, and loads of elies. Camp was very comfortable with great food and cold drinks.

We had a 3 night Victoria Falls package put together by Batoka Safaris packed with exciting activities for the whole family. Activities included a sunset cruise, a tour of the falls, lion & elephant encounters and a game drive. Solomon, our driver was friendly, punctual, always smartly dressed and willing to go the extra mile to accommodate even our smallest requests. He was patient with our young children and willing to answer general questions. Solomon ensured smooth handovers to third party service providers when they were required. Charlie and his team made this safari experience feel truly special. Dressed up in our best khaki fever, Charlie would bring us to amazing spots in Hwange. He found all the animals (lions were requested, lions were found), while making sure everyone always enjoyed a glass of their favorite drink. Charlie is a professional guide and an excellent entertainer. We had so much fun! Charlie's camp is clean and comfy, but you shouldnt forget that you are in the middle of the wilderness. A hyena visited the camp at night and stole my shoe. If you are looking for some adventure and excitement, Taylors Africa Mobile Safaris is the right choice.

Reminiscing during lockdown on our trip with Nomad 20 years ago! Probably very different set up compared to now. 7 of us and a great group of people. Certainly no luxury, just a tent and a sleeping bag. The sights and sounds were amazing, our guides were brilliant, we will never forget it. We loved it!

7. 2 Days Hwange National Park from Victoria Falls
Hwange National Park is the biggest national park in Zimbabwe measuring about 14000 square kilometers. It is home to the big 5, more than 100 species of birds and a variety of flora and fauna. A full day game drive there will provide you with an opportunity to see abundant wildlife. However, since it is about 190km away from Victoria Falls, our experience has taught us that day trips to this park will involve a 360km drive as well, which could take a whole day in the safari jeep and we believe this can be too tiring to our valued guests hence we came up with this brilliant idea of spending the night there. We were in VF at the end of Jan 2020 and were very pleased with our tour guide Fungayi from Afro Honeyguide. He was very good and most punctual driver. He made sure we had a wonderful time and showed us so much more than we expected. He was very responsive and very knowledgeable of the region that gave us a good understanding of the surrounding areas. He recommended us good restaurants with excellent food and incredible views. The Boma dinner gave us a much enjoyable night. Apart from a daily programme Fungayi also gave us enough free time to explore different activities. Visit to the Victoria Falls from both sides is amazing and spectacular. We also took a trip down to the bottom of the Victoria Falls from Zambia side, the Boiling Pot which was excellent. We also wish to correct the rumour of dry water in Victoria Falls is not true. Water is flowing as usual, reflecting only the seasonal up and down. Highly recommended Afro Honey Guide and thank you Fungayi!
