Peak Mazeri Guest House offers accommodation just at the foot of Ushba,in a peaceful and beautiful Mazeri village.One of the best Svaneti trekking routes to Ushba begins at our house.Fairy green valleys, surrounded by majestic snow-capped mountain peaks,river Dolra,huge waterfalls,mineral springs,horseback riding and sauna,delicious homemade food. Reviewed By Elke-V36I honestly don't understand where these great reviews come from. We camped in the garden - the next dat he tried to charge us for 2 diners and 2 breakfasts, which we didn't have and 40gel for camping, which is a LOT. After a, not very pleasant,discussion, he deducted the diners and breakfast. We didn't find the guy welcoming at all. The location and view is great, no doubt about that, but we had the same view at guesthouse shuan (his neighbour), but with much better service! (And cleaner bathroom).

Fantastic experience..
Reviewed By krolikvThis is as close as you can get to the authentic experience of Svan village and the life of people there. Since Mazeri is lacking svan towers, there are few tourists that venture out here. So, you still can see and submerge into the real life of real people. Mila (and her whole family) are wonderful, hard working people. Everything they cook (for breakfasts/dinners) is fresh and cooked on a daily base. They cook it on old fashioned iron stoves, fueled by wood, just the way it was 100 years ago, which made us appreciate meals even more. They are kind, hospitable people, that treated my kids as their own (we travelled with 6 and 9 year olds). The room was old fashioned but with very comfortable beds and super clean sheets/towels. My kids had a blast with their livestock of cows/chickens/sheep etc. They even let my daughter ride their horse around the backyard. Please note, that bathroom/shower are located in a separate room attached to the house. But it's very modern. And we never had a problem with waiting for it, even though we shared with with few other tourists/guests of the house. Overall - A+ experience. Great people, great food, fantastic views!!! The family speaks perfect Russian (which was great, since we are originally from Russia). don't expect much English, but... I honestly think that language is not important, when it comes to hospitality. We are all humans, and we all understand the language of kindness and love.

Great place and amazing people
Reviewed By rosh1964We happened to stumble upon this guesthouse by accident, fortunately we have found amazing and hospitable people, great location (near a mountains lake and a waterfall) fair prices and great food. Can't stress enough how we enjoyed. Will come back again!

Reviewed By LeraZhivogliadОстановились у дороги, рядом с гест хаусом и поняли, что вид, ну просто потрясающий. Заехали во двор, встретились с хозяевами, нам дали лучшую комнату в доме, пригласили на чай, угостили свеже приготовленным хачапури, домашним мацони и конфетками, болтали на разные темы. Поняли что потрясающий не только вид и места, но и хозяева дома. Номер был очень чистый, как и весь дом, завтраки свежими и вкусными, беседы душевными! Малхаз и Рита, спасибо за такой приём, обязательно вернёмся снова ❤️

Reviewed By Pierre WAuthentic family house in a countryside village, rather basic but welcoming, modern amenities such as hot shower and WiFi. Good local meals. Low prices. I hiked Etseri Mazeri, then Mazeri Mestia by the Guli Pass.
