I visited Dara on Saturday and chose a cornflower blue sapphire with white sapphires set in 9 carat gold, the ring was made especially for me. The MD kindly delivered the ring to my hotel last evening and my husband and I absolutely love it! Thank you to all the staff at Dara for looking after us, your advice and patience in making the perfect memory of our trip to Sri Lanka, it is a special birthday gift and 40th wedding anniversary gift. We are very grateful - good price too! We were also given a special tourmaline pendant on a silver chain free of charge which is very pretty. I would recommend a visit to Dara Gems!

In my experience, the best place to buy cut and polished stones in Beruwala - 99% of the gemstones are cut and polished. You could have a lot of fun, but, you really need to know what you're doing if you're going to buy - follow my advice in the book.
