Made a detour to specifically check out CCBC in the flesh. Always enjoyed their offerings where I could in ATL so to be in its presence was amazing. The cool vibe is evident when first walking in and then entering the vast open space that comprises the tasting room. Staff were very friendly. List of beers at both bars ran the range for all likes. Table tops were plenty and available. The bathrooms were very clean. You can tell they put effort into ALL the details. Picked up a few selections to go from the front retail space. Worth the visit and the town of Athens and UGA were great to experience.

We added a stop here during a busy day of touristy-activities, expecting to just sample a flight of beers and then depart: boy were we mistaken! The beers were great, and with a variety that pleased the diverse palates of all four of us. They had live music (The Flamethrowers, who are an incredibly surf rock band I had never of before) rocking outdoors, with tons of seating and umbrellas (to keep off the sun) outside in their vast backyard. Lots of dogs were present, and all of them seemed to get along fine, with responsible owners handling them. Many yard games (like cornhole) were available to play. The Tasting Room Manager gave a small group of us a lively and informative tour of their facility that went above and beyond the typical brewery tour. When we first arrived the parking lot was overfull with cars parked around the adjacent roads, and I thought "Ugh, this place is gonna be jam packed and not fun at all..." I was wrong: the only problem is that their parking lot is too darn small! Even with that many cars, they were able to handle customers promptly and without long lines. And parking on the quiet back road wasn't a problem at all.
