Essence Productions is an independent theatre production company that offers night theatre at Werribee Park each weekend all year round. There are two shows 'What Was That?' performed in the historic mansion and 'Down to Earth' performed at the historic farm. Both are based on history, highly entertaining and filled with comedy, great characters and some scary elements. It’s founder (and author of the work), Alaine Beek, has also written, produced and tour her multi-award winning play, Point of No Return - a riveting drama based on the real events at our first boys prison, Point Puer, Tasmania.
