Jemeluk Bay is incredible. There is amazing coral within a few meters of the beach - just walk in and start snorkelling. Lots of tropical fish. You do not need a boat so you decide when you go and finish. Re Since the beach is volcanic - black sand and lots of pebbles - recommend wear river shoes to protect the feet. Make sure you see the underwater temple, marked by a yellow flag

We went snorkeling here and spent the day using the facilities at Vienna Beach Hotel. The sunbeds are for hire separately from the hotel. We could use the pool, toilets and showers at the hotel as well as getting our food and drinks from there. Snorkeling was great and a nice change having a sandy beach for a day instead of the stones at Amed.

This beach is located in Karangasem and still not yet familiar by tourist even local people like me, not crowded as well. It takes around 2 hours from Legian to arrive here. I like this beach due to blue ocean, white sand, still clean, and quite place so I really enjoy here. It has several swings so that you can try to swing on big coconut trees. Good experience swinging near the beach. ???? When you pay for the entrance ticket, you also will get free homemade soap.

Have been here twice the entrance closer to Candidasa brings you right behind the Beach just turn left and walk towards the small beach bars. Waves can be a bit strong water is very clear about 20 feet out,buy a drink or some food and lay in the deck chair Sand is the best we found in Bali well worth the Trip

Amed beach is located on the eastern side of Bali island. It will take around 3 hours from the Bali airport. I've been to many beach towns in my travels and I need to say, Amed is absolutely one of my favorites! The beach itself is volcanic with dark sand. The main attraction of Amed beach lies in the natural underwater spectacle with fantastic coral reefs and exquisite fish. Therefore, it makes Amed Beach Karangasem a famous place for freediving, snorkeling, and scuba diving in Bali; so, if you love underwater adventure, Amed Karangasem is one area to visit in Bali. Besides a long stretch of black sand beach, there is also a village nearby the beach called Amed. Amed village is a small fishing village on the northeast side of Bali Island, which located close by Tulamben Karangasem. Where can I snorkel in Amed? Below are the best snorkeling spots along the Amed coast. Kembali Beach Bungalows coastline. Teluk Jemeluk. Lipah beach. Selang beach. Good view of beach, really natural. Clean white sands. Eat coconut and nasi goreng with the best view of sea. The water of the sea is clean and blue. You can play sands and play water.
