This one I can't comprehend. People were lining up in swim attire just to go into a pool with several statues with water flowing out of it that is deemed holy and miraculous. Maybe its just me that is not quite religious or superstitious, but other people did bring some swim attire! While roaming around, we were eventually brought to the upper pool where the water that flowed out into that pool. It was a pool with spring water that didn't really look that clean, with lots of surface algae. There are quite a few tilapia in the water, aside form a big eel.
Exploring the place is also quite unique, as long as there is a guide to explain because without the explanations from the guide, everything will not look or sound mysterious or mystical.
The whole place, including those who dipped in the pool, were quite a sight to see.

I felt this place is a gem ! An indoor and outdoor play area ! A large area so not cramped so a large area for the children to run around from toy to toy and activity to activity ! All the play things also very well kept and clean and neat and tidy ! A number of helpers however all sitting around doing very little , so they were generally a waste of space ! The restaurant served all the usual snacks pizza , chicken nuggets , spaghetti... however most dishes with meat . We are vegetarian and was delighted when the restaurant produced a menu featuring endless vegetarian Chinese dishes , to be delivered after 20 minutes a little expensive but great and convenient ! Just 100 IDR for 3 hours play plus mandatory socks so all in all wonderful ! Worth a visit ...

The store holders were desperate, the volcano eruption has really affected tourism, therefore they hound you to "come to my shop, buy pls ". Unfortunately this type of tradd is very annoying to most and it gets a bit tiresome. If they would only learn to be a bit more patient they may get a sale. Some good shops within the markets 35a was nice.

Depending on what time of day and which day you head here there is always something happening.
Plenty of restaurants are lined along here catering for all tastes and styles.
Lovely paved walking and riding path leads both south and north.
Sheltered swimming beach not the cleanest but by far not the worst either , gets very busy along here on Sundays with locals having the day off.

The Sanur Beach Promenade is lined with brightly painted outrigger boats along the water's edge, and good restaurants and cafes opposite. Treat yourself to a massage offered by one of the many masseuses with divans on the sand. If you're there in July, catch the Bali Kite Festival, a colorful international competition.

My partner and I always have a great time walking along the beach's boardwalk numerous times during our visits to Bali.
There're plenty of Beach clubs and food to eat along this incredible stretch, though it can get unbearable in the biting heat of the day.

Sanur Morning Market

Reviewed By metalaarif - Kathmandu, Nepal

I traveled with my mom dad and sisters. We wanted to buy veggy, fish and cook for our-self. First I was buying in supermarket but our tour driver mentioned that there was a morning market when I can buy for cheap.
I highly recommend this place to people who wants to cook themselves. We bought Egg, Vegetables, Prawn, Tea and Condensed Milk as we couldn't find proper milk.
It was cheap and it was just scooter ride away from my Villa.
