I own a lovely village house in Saint- Jean Pla- de - Corts just 20 mins walk from the gorgeous lake. I love the lake and also the lovely sandy beaches of Racou and Argeles Sur Mer are only a 35 min drive away.I bought this holiday home in 2018 and before covid19 struck I managed to go and stay there on 8 separate occasions. Ceret which is just 10 mins drive away is also a lovely town with some interesting independent shops plus of course the amazing Museum of modern Art .Plenty of good restaurants here will tempt you to linger for a relaxing lunch.In fact this whole area of Pyrenees orientals is teeming with quaint villages, mountain walks, old monasteries and heritage sites such as Colliour. The health restorative spa of Amelie Le Bains close to Ceret will ease those aching limbs after yout mountain trek !
