We hired private lessons for 6 kids and had Nick and Linnea teach our kids for 3 hours a day for 5 days. Saas Fee ski resort has a great selection of blue and red runs and plenty of snow. The staff assisting with lifts are really helpful and my husband had a great time at Ski School. Some lively bars available for gluhwein and a great apres ski vibe.

I would highly recommend the services of this ski school. The staff at the school were very helpful and accommodating of last minute by bookings.
I'm in my 30s and only began skiing this season following a relocation to Switzerland. I only had a few days worth of skiing experience on very gentle nursery slopes (essential green pistes) ahead of our long weekend in Saas Fee. The nursery slopes in the village were a bit more challenging than ones I had previously experienced and wonderfully are surrounded by glorious views of the Mountains, so you don't feel like your missing out all the time whilst your friends are hitting the powder further up the mountain.
On my first afternoon, after a morning of attempting to get my ski legs back on a very gentle nursery slope, I had a two hour lessons with Tom from the school. He was really encouraging, personable and helped me to develop my technique and build my confidence up despite a lot of tumbles on the more challenging nursery slope.
I spent the following day on the bigger nursery slope putting what Tom had told me in to practice. By the end of the day I was feeling a bit disheartened by my inability to complete this slope without falling over in the slushy snow, but vowed to persevere.
The following morning I had a two hour lesson with Hugo from the school. He took me down the two nursery slopes to observe my technique and advised that I was ready to try the pistes on the Mountains. After checking how confident I was feeling, Hugo initially took me slowly down a red and then a lovely long blue run at Längfluh. He was very friendly, encouraging and provided lots of great feedback as we skied. By the end of the lesson I was delighted. I never imagined that I would have skied down a red run before the end of the weekend.
After that I felt confident to join my friends on some blue pistes for the rest of the day. Whilst I still consider myself very much a learner, I feel much more positive. I never would have been able to make this progress without the expertise and motivation of my two instructors. Thank you!

An informative museum set in an old house. It is well laid out and all information is in the main languages. It tracks the history of Saas Fee and the geology of the area. Interesting for all ages.

Thought it was worth a look but a bit over priced for the time it took to go round even if you were 10,000m up . Enjoyed the viewing platform when finished. You could use the same ticket over and over during your stay in Saas Fee but we never felt a need to return.

Most lifts are cabin lifts (6 to 100 persons). This means fast up (and down) the mountain but also a lot of walking. It is also good for non-skiiers that want to have a meal or walk up on the mountain. Sometimes the lifts are closed because of wind conditions. You can often get seasonal passes for the price of a 5 day pass.

2 lifts and a funicular to get to the highest revolving restaurant. So takes a fair bit of time.
If the weather is clear, this is a must place to visit. The ice palace is there and the revolving restaurant provides spectacular views, if you can see them!
The restaurant was fine. Not cheap but very special and the service was adequate.
