We spent an hour at Waterfront Park as a rest area for our road trip. We loved walking along the waterway, watching the boats, seeing the fish at the hatchery, and then letting the kids splash in the water park area for a cool down. The bathrooms near the walkway/parking were awful and dirty, so head across the field to the water park where they were much cleaner. A great stop for a long stretch!

Easy to reach from the Blue Waters Bridge. Pretty geese sculpture surrounds the outside. Lovely Ontario Parks merchandise available on the Ontario Travel Info center side and lots of Canadiana and local merchandise in the Sarnia-Lambton info center side......and VERY HELPFUL employees on both sides!

Best kept secret in Sarnia! Had an excellent plated breakfast (served mornings Monday thru Friday) consisting of two bacon strips, two sausage links, two eggs, tater tots, toast and coffee for only $5.95. Sat next to huge window overlooking river and watched freighters sail by as we ate breakfast. Only negative, there was only one waitress serving entire restaurant. (But she did a great job keeping up).
