This huge haciendo is managed for more than fifty years in a sustainable way - avant la lettre! Unique way of experiencing sea with whales, beach with palms, mangroves with caiman, forest with birds and pastures with cattle and deer ! Very nice accommodations with all you need to enjoy everything, boating to Tortuga, diving for marine fauna, strolling for fauna and watching birds.

We offer a variety of tours such as scuba diving and snorkeling, mountain and volcano hikes, white water rafting, horseback riding, mountain biking, ATV tours and Zip Line/Canopy tours. We venture off the beaten track to the Forests and wildlife reserves in the area, or how about exploring Montezuma and Santa Teresa? All tours are guided by our experienced, local guide who really knows the area.

We used this tour company last Christmas for several excursions. (Yes I am late in posting, but it was that magical!) We loved every single minute of our time with these guys! We hiked Curu Park and did the Bioluminescent Bay tour and the next day traveled the country on 4 wheelers. So informative! All of our senses were overwhelmed with the beauty and excitement we experienced. A must do!

This is a unique experience to be able to kayak with a guide to see the bioluminescence. The sea lights up when you swish your hand in the water and with every paddle stroke! My wife and I are not experienced with kayaks but the water was calm and we managed easily. If you are in the area I would definitely recommend it. The owners, Thomas and Vigdis are nice people and we would have done the whale watching tour had we been staying another night in Paquera.

This is a great little island if you want to do a true tourist event. The food, the gift shop, and the drinks are priced very very reasonable. You can rent an umbrella and two lounge chairs all day for an amazingly low price. The...MoreHi, We are glad you liked the island and that you found that the services and activities at the island are fairly priced. We will mention your comment to boat operators in order to have them anchor further from the beach. Thanks, Mario C.

Playa Quesera

Enjoyed several hours at this beach. We visited with our kayak guides, Seascape Kayak Tours, had lunch and enjoyed the white, fine sand beach. There was a park ranger on duty at the beach, I believe someone is there most days. There's a constant breeze that blows onto this beach making it a wonderful spot to sit or nap in the shaded area at the edge of the trees. The waves were very small, the water was clear and shallow for a long way out making it a good spot for our girls to snorkel. Certainly one of the best Beaches we visited while on the southern tip of the peninsula.

Clean and private little beach which we enjoyed after coming from many busy Beaches around Costa Rica. There is a little soda where we went for ceviche but they were out, however they had cold cervezas and some really cool locals to entertain us!
