Very beautiful waterfall, very slippy in places so wear good footwear. I went in dive boots. The guides are good, and will show you the route. We did hear someone fell the day before us and broke / very badly sprained an ankle and had to be stretchered out. Try and time your visit so you aren't there when the big boats dock. we were lucky in this regard and only had another couple of groups. at peak times we were told the queue to get in is huge and there will be dozens of people all over the falls. Also be careful on the way out, the little shop keepers can be quite aggressive trying to sell you knick knacks.

I can’t say enough great things about visiting the blue hole yesterday! Our whole family loved it! Our guide Darren made us all feel at ease and helped the little kids and my parents! He was such a great guide! Truly patient and attentive to all! I highly recommend him and the Blue Hole!

Truly the most fun trip we had while visiting Jamaica. The guides make this experience one to remember.
This excursion is good for kids and adults. The guides are there every step of the climb to help.
FYI you are climbing the actual falls and you will get wet! Many on our tour and at our resort were not aware of this!!!??

We went on a Chukka tour that included a trip to the blue hole, tubing down the White River, and ziplining. Stephano and Adrian were great tour guides (along with the others...I just can't remember everyone's names. Climbing and jumping into the blue hole was so much fun! The White River was crystal clear with a few rapids to navigate white tubing. Ziplining was also a good time. After completion, a jerk chicken dinner was provided with delicious rum punch. Great tour! Great tour guides! Fun for all three adults.

This is an unspoilt piece of paradise just outside downtown Ocho Rios. We spent a few hours in the Gardens, just enjoying the green space and peacefulness. Be warned that the falls are beautiful but not for climbing. It is also a long climb down to the steps to the natural pools at the bottom of the falls and a long climb back up; not suitable for anyone who is impaired physically. This is the best place to take pictures of the Ocho Rios bay. They host a lot of private events, weddings particularly as this beautiful natural setting is one of a kind. Would absolutely recommend as a side trip.

Other than being "forced" into a tip by a jerk I had a great experiece. The views are spectacular and the variety of things to do keeps everyone happy.
