Der Titel ist bei diesem Museum wirklich Programm. Taekwondo Begeisterten empfehle ich unbedingt einen Besuch dieses Museums! Man wird dort alles über die Geschichte und Bedeutung des Sports erfahren und nach einem Durchgang auch verstehen weshalb diese Sportart so wichtig für das Koreanische Volk ist!
Unbedingt auch die Taekwondo Show ansehen, da diese sehr beeindruckend ist!

Bandi Land has interesting grounds and a large tropical greenhouse a Observatory museum with access to the large telescope and camping and water park.. The staff is very helpful and nice and well informed guides available for tours of the lightning bug museum. The lightning bug museum has a world class insect collection and a good collection of Korean insects. there is a dome theater as well as a 3d theater. My personal favorite was the insect museum and the friendly and helpful people who work there.

The old traditional Korean village here is very picturesque especially form the hill temple paths above it. The village is mostly shops and a tourist attraction with historic buildings scattered thru-out. The rulers palace/fortress is interesting and of historical importance and well maintained a famous portrait of the ruler and buildings and records can be viewed during a pleasant walk around the grounds. Two guards in period costume are available at the gate for a photo op. There is a very old Catholic church where Christians were martyred long ago still standing and in use. The history of paper making goes way back here and paper can still be bought said to last 1000 years barring bugs or burning. A interesting tour and good place for shopping and eating Korean food and snacks.

안국사는 솔직히 예상치 못한 행운이었다. 안국사에 대해 잘 몰랐기에 차를 타고 산을 올라가면서 앞차를 따라가다 도착하게 된 곳이었었다. 그런데 안국사에 도착하자마자 그 모습에 우리 가족은 모두들 감탄하기 바빴다. 안개도 아닌 구름이 자욱하게 사찰들 전체를 둘러싸고 있었던 것이다. 그곳에서 일하시는 분의 설명을 들어보니 안국사는 매우 유명한 절이었고, 이 정도 규모의 절 중에 이만큼의 고도가 높은 산위의 절이 없을거라는 말씀을 하셨다. 또한 구름에 대해 거의 팔월 즈음에는 항상 구름이 무리지어 사찰을 점령한다는 말씀을 하시며 우리는 손오공이 된 것이라고 하셨다. 정말 그 구름에 싸인 절의 모습은 아직도 잊혀지지 않는다.

This temple is really beautiful. It's sad that the old one, which was built in the 600s, was destroyed in the Korean War, but the new one is still worth the hike. The views are great, and it's definitely still easily accessible in the winter.
