We came here end of January as a group of 5 and really enjoyed our night. Claire has a wonderful personality and the food was exquisite. My only complaint is that I ate too much!
I would definitely book this if you are a foodie and want a different experience other than the same same thai restaurant.

Lamai Sunday Nightmarket

Reviewed By Jennifer87 - Bath, United Kingdom

This market is worth a visit if you’re staying locally and want an evening out. Stroll through the market and you’ll see lots of souvenirs to buy. For example, t-shirts, shorts, lanterns, soaps, passport holders, bags, and lots of scarfs. Many are priced around 100-150 baht. There’s also lots to eat, ribs, pad Thai (70 baht), fried chicken, fried potato, sweet corn, fresh orange juice and several mobile cocktail bars.
Like all the street markets we’ve visited in Thailand it is a bit dirty, with rubbish piled up on the side of the street. It’s also difficult to find a loo. But if you can see past these things then you’ll have an enjoyable evening.

Silver Beach is about 300m-long tropical beach paradise set in a charming little bay facing northeast located just north of Lamai Beach, at the foothills and cliffs separating Lamai from the more popular Chaweng area on the east coast of Koh Samui. Silver Beach hosts four long, even if you’re not staying at one of the hotels you’re still free access to this tranquil strip of sand which offers some particularly good sunbathing, swimming and snorkeling opportunities.

Lamai Night Plaza

Reviewed By ElliotWilliams1985 - Melbourne, Australia

The main strip in Lamai is so long and full of bars and shops, then there is this little street with stalls. Not heaps, and all pretty much have the same type of stuff.
Take it or leave it.
We went to the big Sunday Night Market and that was unreal! Literally hundreds of stalls, music, food carts everywhere and allot of the little bars drop their prices heaps.
Lamai is such a beautiful little spot for Beaches and shopping - much prefer it over Chaweng.
