We've been here several times over the past six years, during all seasons and all kinds of weather. The best way if there are several in your party is to make sure you have a pickup truck, an air mattress, plenty of pillows and blankets. We also bring folding chairs so the grownups can leave the truck bed to the kids. If you plan to use your car's radio for audio through both films make sure your battery is in good shape (every time we go we see people who need a jump to leave at the end of the night.) We have a small transistor radio that works pretty well. The theater has some significant renovations since our last visit, we were most impressed by the bathrooms, they look really good (don't judge too harshly, it's an old building with new paint but the plumbing works and they're clean!) Sitting under the stars watching a good movie is an experience everyone should enjoy at least once in their life. Visit the Jesup Drive-In if you can.

We are open during the months of June-July with farm fresh produce we close the first week in August. We re-open the first weekend in October for our fall festivities and are open every weekend during the month.

If you want fresh vegetables this is the place to get them, from shelled peas and beans, tomatoes, okra and
fresh fruit. This is the farm. It was recommended by another vendor and when your competition send customers to another business, you know its great. The staff is very friendly and will give suggestion and information on the seasonal harvest.

We are a Dinner Cinema with quality food and first rate service delivered to you at your seat. This is a priority to us. Nothing is pre-cooked so it takes a little longer but it is good food. Every seat in all theaters is an electric leather recliner with a personal table. Spacing between the aisles is an amazing 7 feet. With decor providing an ambience from the 1920s Art Deco style.

Not your normal theater! Wonderfully comfortable reclining leather seats, good food, and excellent service with a smile. They will go out of their way to make sure you are happy with your theater experience. They have a website at jesupmovies.com to order tickets and check movie times. They also have a Facebook page under The Historic Strand.

I used to live just a few miles from this park and used to frequent it often with my then three-year old daughter. It has grown over the years and has ball fields, soccer, bathrooms, food stand(when a game is going on), playground , three ponds, two walking trails, and feeders where you can purchase approved food to feed the delightful ducks and geese who call these ponds home. Bring quarters for the food dispensers. The two walking trails consist of the big oval one around the ponds(three times is a mile, I think), and the longer one that goes off behind a few trees. This longer one was my favorite because the trees provided shade on a hot Georgia day, the quietness provided for good animal sightings of birds, squirrels, a few turkeys and deer as well as rabbits. Since hurricane Matthew ripped through this area on October 7th, 2017, many trees and shrubs were damaged and I guess the park officials decided to cut 90 percent of the trees down to open it up so that you could see the whole area from the parking lot like the oval trail around the pond. While I can see the safety issue side for this, it removed all the shade and protection that the wildlife enjoyed. Still, this is one of the better parks in Jesup, Georgia and I will stop by every time I am in the area.

After attending the annual Dogwood Festival in Jesup, my husband, his mom, and I decided to check out this park and get our daily exercise in. Right away, I didn't like the unsafe feel of it tucked in off the road. One assault on a lone female had already taken place awhile back. It did have paved sidewalks up to the wooden bridge which was rotting in places also making it unsafe, it had a gazebo, no water and no bathrooms. I saw ONE tree that had been planted. This place needs so much more but it has potential. I suggest adding some sort of restroom or porta potty and a source of water as well as adding a few plants or flowering shrubs to give it some color. It could be so much better.
