Hum is supposed to be the smallest town in the world. It is a charming old stone-built little town with cobbled streets and cute little shops offering local local delicacies such as truffles, olive oil, wine, etc. It also offers stunning view you can enjoy peacefully from wooden benches kindly placed at the southern end of the town. There are also few accomodation possibilities so you can use it as a grate base to visit also other Istrian villages nearby (Mototvun, Buzet, Groznjan..). The hiking trail takes you by the river Mirna all the way to Buzet (12 km alltogether) passing also the charming Kotle village and offers a few bathing possibilities. Very with visiting and spending a couple of days!
