Very impressive building and a most interesting place to visit. We had the place totally to ourselves so didn't have the hustle and bustle like the colosseum that we visited the previous week. A worthwhile place and a hidden gem.

The amphitheater is spectacular as well as the underground. Although the museum dedicated to gladiators is very small, it has some beautiful pieces, including helmets, gladiator leggings and numerous sculptures.
