Ellenis Day Spa

The owner Irene and her staff provide a warm and serene welcome and makes you feel so special you feel like you are the only person visiting, no matter how busy they are. I won’t give away what little extras they do but highly recommend visiting as they are most unique in what they provide. I have been to many day spas and this was truely special. Now an avid customer based in Melbourne as Irene is a fountain of knowledge when it comes to skincare and is still looking after me through Covid times. Irene freely spent an hour on the phone with my sister and I, giving advice on how to treat my sister’s Rosacea and how to get the best of products purchased for our own home spa day. Irene is an Incredibly caring and beautiful woman who is happy to educate and spend time with her clients.

I have just completed the Two Day Intensive Jewellery Making Course at Pod Jewellery and it was fantastic! The teaching was extensive, every question was answered and all the jewellery making processes were explained and demonstrated. There was a huge range of resources for me to use to make earrings, pendants and rings. It was a great weekend and I can’t wait to try the stone setting course. If you want to learn how to make quality jewellery in a fun and supportive environment this is the course for you.

The evening at Animus Distillery was fantastic - the staff there are just amazing!! I was there for a birthday with friends, but it is worth making this place a first stop on your Melbourne road trip as its only an hour by rental car fro the airport. The boys & their staff have such tangible beautiful passion for what they do, and over all of it is the amazing fragrances of the distillery that operates right from inside the bar. Kyneton in Victoria is a perfect place for a gin distillery doorstep bar like this: all the history of the place somehow is a perfect backdrop for that most English of spirits. I’d suggest setting aside several nights to go back there & sample your way through the Animus gins, along with the boys recommended tonics. Make a long weekend of it, and make space in your suitcase for a couple of their stylish bottles to come back home with you. Ten-out-of-ten for Animus Distillery!
