This city of sandroads was full of families on horses or in carriages on the saturday afternoon we visited. The Mirador de las Marismas is a boardwalk next to the lake and the city. We made a tour in a carriage with mules for 20 euro. This tour went partially along the boardwalk. Unfortunately there was a lot of wind and a lot of clouds, so it was difficult to make nice photos of the birds in the lake. Before we visited El Rocio, we visited El Alcebuche, but there were no birds at all in the lake without water.

Many thanks to the team at Donana a Caballo for a great ride! My boyfriend and I enjoyed our experience and appreciated the time. Definitely worth the price, the horses are very well taken care of, they’re very well mannered and their kind nature shows they are adored by the farm. The farm is a bit tricky to find, this is why we are encouraged to make arrangements to meet in town first at the contact center then we followed the guide to the farm. Mucho Gracias!
