My wife and I went to the winery on a whim late in the afternoon. It was our first experience visiting a winery in the U.S.. We were so happy we made the choice. Because of the issues related to COVID-19 we were seated on the patio, offered a glass of their award winning Sangiovese Rose and charcuterie plate. We couldn’t have been treated better. We selected several of their Private reserve wines to taste and ultimately purchase. We are now participants in their wine club. We will certainly look forward to our quarterly wine deliveries. Especially we would like to thank the gentleman who served us and made the tastings so informative. He made us feel special, even though I was dressed very casually ( bib overalls ). Overall a “perfect” experience!

Howard Amon Park is in great shape with lots of lawn, picnic tables, and benches. There is a large play area for children, a small amphetheter, and picnic shelters. A riverboat docks there several times a during the week in the summer months. There is a paved walking trail stretching miles long for biking, walking, or jogging.

LIGO Hanford is one of the two Laser Interferometry Gravitational Observatories that first detected the gravitational wave propagating from the collision of two black holes a few years ago and then more recently two neutron stars. For this the LIGO team was awarded the Nobel Prize in physics. The tour is fascinating, as you'll get a sense of the unprecedented precision with which distance is measured. Mind-blowing. Check ahead for when tours are operating.

3rd time here at Fiction. Service is personable and prompt. Food is above area standard by far. Food that was suppose to be served warm was, crispy was, nothing over or undercooked, and everything was flavorful. Thank you for great tasty lunch at a reasonable price.
