Intercultura does a fantastic job! This review is kind of 3-in-1 because of all of the different things they offer. I was able to drop in and attend the language school for 5 days. My teacher Dariella was knowledgable, friendly and accommodating. There are students of all ages from around the world at any given time in the summer, which makes a great cultural experience even that much better! My 16 year old was very easily able to start our trip a week in advance of the rest of the family, and see another part of Costa Rica (Heredia) because of Intercultura's original city campus, homestay and teen programs! Then my 14 year old (who couldn't go in advance because of her schedule) was able to join Intercultura at the Samara campus midway through the teen program. The chaperones and other kids were so welcoming and she fell right in with everyone. The kids were busy, engaged, and had some independence in Samara because of their involvement with the school, which was a great way to travel. Their Spanish improved tremendously because of the immersion program.

Brenda was a pleasure to work with! She was very patient with all of my thoughts and ideas, and used all of my feedback to put together a fantastic private sunset catamaran tour for my husband and I to celebrate our anniversary. Brenda also provided lots of great information for the Samara area, and even after our tour was over she continued to be very helpful and even passed along photos from the captain of the boat of our wonderful experience. Gallery is on the beach towards South end, but set back. There is a sign on the beach up by the fence. Nice bright abstract paintings. Friendly artist.

Awesome massage, great price, and super easy to book right on the beach. Amazing, relaxing experience: Throughout the massage hearing the waves crash in the background under the shade of a palm tree. Kate was friendly and helpful in deciding which massage to select and the overall experience.

We found Cheryl through the Samara Info Center and are so glad we did! Cheryl combines traditional massage therapy with reiki and still has a few other tricks up her sleeve. She came out to our rental villa in Carrillo, bringing her own table and goodies and gave me, my husband then mother in law each 60 minute massages. LOVED every minute. Cheryl is also a lovely person, raising her son in Samara and I enjoyed speaking with her about her family. Not to mention we're both from PA, born and raised and connected over 2,000 miles away! =)

I workout and lift weights and experience tight muscles because of this. I had a holistic massage to alleviate tightness and pain in my body and Craniosacral massage to relieve sinus pressure. Sarah was extremely friendly and discussed with me what areas I wanted to focus on. Her massage table on the beach under the rancho was great with shade and a nice breeze. She made sure to provide me with privacy when getting on and off the table. She used amazing pressure and stretches and was in tune to my body and finding the knots. I also felt relief the next day in my sinuses. I would highly recommend if you are in Samara!!!
