Cooking Classes in the Studio at are all about food, where it comes from, and the simple ways to make it delicious handmade food using time honored traditions. Our aim is to enhance your visit to this famous wine and Food region and to share what it takes to cook simple and delicious food with a minimum of fuss.

In Kalleske Cellar Door you will be able to taste our current range of wines and hear all about the history behind the Kalleske vines. Cheese platters of local Barossa produce are available to purchase and can be enjoyed on a picnic blanket on the lawn or in our cozy cellar door. Or why not try a self guided food and wine flight where each local produce is paired with a Kalleske wine. Out the back you can find games like Quoits to entertain the kids whilst being surround by a beautiful garden. Come enjoy our wines and learn the rich history that went into making them. In South Australia's Barossa Valley, the Kalleske family have been farming and growing grapes since 1853 near the village of Greenock. They are one of the region's leading grape-growing families consistently growing some of the Barossa's best quality grapes. After six generations of growing grapes, winemaker and seventh generation family member, Troy Kalleske, together with his brother Tony, established the Kalleske winery and made the first 'Kalleske' wine. The vineyard is low yielding with grapes grown organically and biodynamically and the winery is also certified biodynamic/organic. The Kalleske family are active practitioners of sustainable farming. They are caretakers of the land and not only want to maintain the environment but improve it for future generations. All Kalleske wines are estate grown and vinified with minimalist winemaking techniques used to fully capture the essence of the vineyard allowing genuine handmade estate wines to be produced. The range is a diverse mix of wines that showcases the splendid Kalleske grapes. Wines from Kalleske have been seven generations in the making, but they are certainly worth the wait!

Enjoy an intimate and unique cellar door experience at Ballycroft Vineyard and Cellars. Join Joe Evans for a personal guided wine session available everyday between 11am-4pm. Joe is the owner, winemaker, viticulturist and everything inbetween, carefully tending his grapes from vine to bottle. The Tasting Room which sits at the bottom of Ballycroft's 15 acre sloping vineyard on the outskirts of Greenock was once the cheesery of the same name. While the cheese has now gone the distinctive logo still graces the Small Berry Wine bottles. Ballycroft's wine is made as a reflection of their sustainable, rain fed vineyard, the terroir and the individual vintage. They let the fruit tell the story. We are a micro-brewery operating in a 100 year old wheatstore in the picturesque village of Greenock in the Western Barossa Valley. We produce only 2000 liters at a time of quality artisan beer using the German Purity Law of 1516. Only the four main ingredients of beer making are used - yeast, malt, hops and water. There are no additives or preservatives in our beer.We offer country hospitality.
