Opal Mines

This tour involves a ride out to the boonies then getting in back of a pick up to go up to the mines, the tour guides help kids (and adults if your nice lol) bust rocks and find opals, if you need to relieve some stress and break some things and maybe find a treasure this is fun. I wouldn’t take a kid under 8 tho because it’s quite a bumpy ride up the mountain.

Nice plaza to have a rest while enjoying an ice cream or soda. Has a lot of restaurants and stores, some art galleries, and handicrafted goods. By the afternoon close to sundown a lotof birds fly in circles around the plaza and finnally they go to their nests in the trees. Is really a nice and anazing spectacle.

I recently visited Tequisuiapan and its nearby attractions, itsa beautiful and subby town, the main plaza is beautiful as well as its church, except for the huge letters for the selfies that are so in fashinon mexico, everything else is beautiful. The whole place is intended fot tourists, so people are very nice and you can buy local specialties like clothes, wines and chesse.
