Expensive and understaffed

Reviewed By MichaelTravel22

My stay was fine but overall the rate is very high for what you get. The room is quite sparse and simple - no real style, just generic kind of room. The staff tried their best but it was obvious they were really understaffed. Seeing guests pushing their own luggae trolleys is new for me:)

A bit disorganised but worth it

Reviewed By Stephen E

Staff Excellent, Service not bad, still suffering from short staffing re pandemic it seems, Food in the restaurant was limited but excellent. Coffee, Long Black, excellent, Golf excellent, GPS in carts brilliant. Make sure to book ahead for your round of golf. Online bookings are hopeless, ring pro shop direct and make sure of the price when you book. Wifi was rubbish as was the TV and entertainment system if you need it. 25 metre pool a blessing, go early to avoid kids. Gymnasium excellent. Apartments need painting and general work but this seems common since the pandemic. Bed in master bedroom 605 super comfortable. Did see a small apartment (Studio), Don’t bother they are small and smelly, and if it’s a price point issue, you will struggle with the prices at the restaurant and bar so bring your own food and wine and get a self contained unit. The Vie Spa good for general massage and average facial. Otherwise not worth it. Big menus but no ability to deliver. Still great location and excellent facility just suffering a bit from the pandemic.

I was pleasantly surprised with this accomodation. I booked last minute (day of), they accommodated a request for 2 single beds instead of a double, with a room upgrade, despite the booking being made on the day AND at a cheaper rate than was offered. They have made slight aesthetic changes to the rooms (apparently there is new ownership recently) that really bring a clean cut but individual beach vibe to the space. The little touches like the clean cut glass door fridge, pod coffee machine, spacious bathroom, bio friendly cutlery, comfortable mattresses, but most importantly for me was the really lovely personable staff (shout out to Lyndal:-)). There is a bottle shop and a few food options 3 minutes walk away and the beach is a 10 minute walk if you're willing to go uphill a little and work out those lungs. Super happy with the experience! Thanks guys!

Disappointing.

Position of park was fabulous. However, ocean view cabin was shabby and needed a good paint. The photos look great, but not so in reality. Couldn't turn off fan in bedroom, so had to flick the master switch which left us with no lighting whatsoever. Lights blown outside making stairs dangerous. Also charged $330 a night- well over priced for its condition.

Filthy place not fit for humans

Maybe the owner likes living in his own filthy mess, cos he sure doesn’t see the disgusting mess he lives in and expects paying guest to pay for this privilege! Scum like this shouldn’t run businesses in Australia. Keep your filthy dirty standards to yourself and try keeping to your word and refund when you say you will refund.
