Hollywood Broadwalk

This 2.5-mile pedestrian promenade is crowded with joggers, skaters and cyclists with seaside cafes perfect for sitting, resting and people-watching. Or, if you’re feeling the need for speed, rent some wheels from one of the rental spots and join the crowd.

It was nice to casually walk the neach front and pier. Watching people fishing and enjoying the day. Children were loving it. Plus they have a covered area to where you can just soak in the breeze.

Walk, stay on the beach or just seat in a restaurant, are some of the things you can do. Everything is very clean, safe and well taken care of. You can park your car right on the beach, it is not that expensive. Many restaurants and bars around the boardwalk, so you are spoiled for choices

Pompano Municipal Pier

A wide and long pier just recently completed after it was destroyed in a hurricane. It was free the night we went so I am not sure if there is ever a charge. Ample space to fish with pole holders and a cleaning station. Once you are at the end in the ocean, you have a great view of the beach and the various buildings on the beach.

It is such a beautiful view of the ocean and beach and the people fishing from the end of the pier. You can sit on a bench and people watch.
