Great little hotel

We stayed here just one night on our yearly car trip to the Alps. Small but clean rooms. Very warm welcome by the owner. We had an excellent 4 course dinner for only 25 francs. We were offered a closed garage without us asking for it. Hospitality ++++

Hotel Alpina

Comfortable pit stop along the Furka pass

Reviewed By Peaches O

During our driving holiday from Geneva through to Ticino, my husband and I spent the night at Hotel Alpina. We paid 100 CHF for the night. We got a lovely room with a view overlooking the mountains. As it was summer they were covered in lush green set against a magnificently blue sky. The hotel was busy with bikers having lunch before/after taking the Furka pass but the hotel itself was tranquil. The hotel staff were lovely and pleased to see us making the attempt to speak German to them. The hotel has a restaurant which serves food all day just not everyday (think they are closed Mondays). We had an early dinner which was OK but seemed that their meals are mostly frozen produce. However, the glorious backdrop of mountains in a village of barely 300 inhabitants made it a worthwhile spot to lay our heads down before continuing the rapturous drive over the mountains.

Hotel Walser

Quite expensive for what you get.................

Reviewed By Waltons2010

We stayed one night at this hotel. The room has recently been renovated and is ok but the bathroom is COZY. There about 50 cm between the toilet and the shower. The shower itself is tiny with a horrible shower curtain. If you are little larger than an average person you will not fit into this bathroom......................... Food and service are ok. We were surprised how little Corona measure were taken at the Breakfast buffet. No hand sanitizer available, open cold meats and cheeses, bread open and several things to be touched by several people...............not really what you expect during Covid-19 times.
