Spent 5 weeks here on a course, the staff are so friendly, accommodating and very welcoming. Plenty of space to park, not far from rail links to Liverpool. The room are spot on and very clean and tidy, couldn't ask for more. Thanks for a great stay Gary, Louise, Paul and all the other staff that work there. I will stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Clean room and great food

We stopped at the Eccleston arms for 1 night, having some food and drinks. The food is a little on the expensive side - however totally worth it. Room was too an excellent standard having tea and coffee provided.

Stayed last week family of four fantastic hotel with great leisure club. Quick easy check in, upon arrival. See a lot of negative reviews on here regarding car parking, As soon as we arrived advised to input our REG details in to machine and that was covered for two days. Really don't know why guests are complaining. Reception was helpful and advised best places to go and where to get a train from into Liverpool. Room had a lot of space and bright and clean. Breakfast service as quick and efficient, Even took a few muffins home for the long drive. Special Thanks to the lady on reception when we checked in 29th May was really helpful and understood our needs. Will book again closer to Christmas Tommy

Would recommend if you're after a cheap place to stay for a few nights

Reviewed By 607sophiea

I stopped here with a group of friends in a four person room. Having read some of the reviews we were a bit worried about what we would find but we were pleasantly surprised. We wanted cheap accommodation whilst attending a festival and it was definitely preferable to stopping in a tent. Yes the rooms are very basic, cramped and a little tired looking but the beds and bathroom were clean. We arrived quite late and check in was straightforward. All of the staff we came across were very friendly. There was a kettle so we were able to make a late night pot noodles! I'm not sure about the other rooms but I wouldn't recommend room 2 if you're a light sleeper. There was a very thin (locked) connecting door to another room and you could hear every word of their conversation; they might as well have been sat in the room with us. It made us laugh though. I would recommend this hotel if you're after a cheap place to stay for a few nights.

PARKING

We did not stay here as when I enquired about a room was told that it had been contracted out (I later found out they meant taken over by the home office) We were on the car park for 15 mins as that is how long it took me to get attention on the reception desk. One week later we recieved a parking fine for £85.00. what a scam
