This place is the literal worst
Reviewed By erin542This hotel is a MESS. Super rude, super disorganized - my husband spent over an hour trying to straighten out our reservation. A family member had a similar experience last year and we thought we would give them another try for a nice staycation but it was the exact same situation she had. Rude, disorganized and frustrating. I'm only giving 2 stars, because the rooms were clean and the location is close to the expressway, but just DON'T stay here.

Save your money! Overated!
Reviewed By taras831This place in my opinion is not worth the $309.00 a night that they charged. I don't mind spending good money to stay at nice places but I expect to be impressed. This was not the case here. Apparently they were under renovation which we were not made aware of before booking. We found we didn't have hot water in our shower. We were placed in another room but were inconvenienced with having to repack everything and move. They do have a nice exercise room and pool area. The hot tub however didn't keep a hot temperature. We also had to call and ask for towels for pool area. The cushions in this area have seen better days, looked kinda broken down and dirty. They rooms were nice and definitely felt clean but overall I would have opted for a nice Hampton and saved a lot of money. Management did offer us a $40 per night credit for our inconvenience which I found laughable when you are charging over $300 a night for a room that clearly wasnt any better quality than what I would have paid at Hampton.

This hotel has gone completely downhill
Reviewed By John DI requested daily housekeeping multiple times, including before we arrived and at check-in. First day - no housekeeping. 2nd day - they promised first thing in the morning - didn’t happen until noon, and only after I asked a housekeeper in the hallway because we had to get ready to dress for a wedding. Food at the restaurant for breakfast was terrible - cold, burned, tasteless. Had very noisy neighbors on two nights. Since COVID this place has completely tanked- when we used to come here it was great - now we will not return.

Review of Comfort Inn Plymouth - West Livonia Pending review I feel like I got tricked into this place based on the reviews compared to nearby properties. Either the nearby properties are horrible (which I doubt) or there's something fishy going on. Anyway, on the plus side, the staff are mostly friendly and courteous and helpful, and the rooms seem pretty quiet. That's it for the positives. On the downside, the place is an absolute dump hidden in a dark corner off an industrial area and the rooms stink. I was first given room 160, which involved a long walk along a long corridor with disgustingly filthy carpeting past the kind of families whose mothers swear at their children while smoking cigarettes, where I arrived at the room, which smelled like wet dog, Once I turned the heater on, I was treated to the smell of NYC subway urine. There was no way I was staying here for three nights. I asked for a different room and was given 230, which involved a ride up an elevator with even nastier grimy carpeting, and a shorter walk to a room where my senses were confronted by the stink of years of cigarette smoke. I'm sure some of it was recent, which is something that cannot be said of the furnishings and decor. "Breakfast" is Covid-limited to takeaway bags of one of two Jimmy Dean frozen sandwiches, fruit, yogurt, water, etc. The entire place looked and smelled like old bad decisions, not the least of which was my decision to stay here. Never again.
