When entering the gate it looks very unwelcoming, dirty windows, no staff, beautiful paving road, but uses gravel road, because of broken gate? They could focus on garden work like de weeding, trimming. And cleaning, windows, swimming pool. Fixing broken light bulbs

Worst holiday ever
Reviewed By blue2thunder1My family was booked in at Greystone lodge When we arrived the owner was very rude as we were waiting outside the chalet and we were a bit early We were told the next day to keep our 18 month old dog quiet or leave Clearly the pet friendly policy only applies if you have a dog that does not bark for the dogs walking by our chalet This ruined my sons holiday that just wanted to spend time outdoors with his dog Do not go there unless your dog does not bark

Rainbow Lodge Estate is a beautiful farm in the heart of Mpumalanga, just 200km from Pretoria and 250km from Johannesburg. Rainbow lodge is the ideal getaway for a couple who are seeking a romantic weekend away or the whole family who need to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city to a tranquil environment. Rainbow lodge is just 10km from the N1 highway and close to the very popular country town Dullstroom.We have 5 self catering country cottages sleeping between 2 and 6 people each depending on your requirements.Note : We are pet friendly and your pets are very welcome.

Reviewed By TheunsBlomWe stayed over for two nights recently and it was hopelessly too short. This is a place where you can unwind and forget about the rat race back home. The cottage we stayed in was very cozy and comfortable with everything you need. We stayed in Cottage 5 which has a breathtaking view over the water and the sunrises are amazing. The gas hot water works very well and seeing that it was winter when we visited, the wood burning stove in the room was AMAZING! There is also place to have a barbecue and a lovely bench where you can just sit and dream the day away. We are not trout fishermen but for those that are the dams seems to be well stocked. We would advise you to make sure that you bring all the food and drinks with that you will need for the tie there as the town is distance away from the lodge and also if you have a low car you need to be a little more careful on the dirt roads as they are at the moment. The hosts were exceptionally kind, accommodating and helpful. We came there as strangers and left as "family." We will DEFINITELY be returning for a longer stay there in the near future.
