Ahar Cenotaphs

Reviewed By mattmO7828RJ - Newcastle, Australia

This was a surprise. Not on the beaten track for tourists but we'll worth the 5km tuktuk ride. The cenotaphs trace the lineage of the Mewar Maharana's from about 1500. Each king was cremated here and a cenotaph built in his honour. This should be visited after the palace tour which will provide some background.
