Welcome to Ferment The Orange Wine Centre and Wine Store. Ferment is a celebration of over 200 wines from Orange and the Central Ranges. Select over 50 local wines and 24 from our state-of-the-art Enomatic wine serving and preserving systems. We are the cellar door for the following wineries: Black, Cooks Lot, Carillion, Darragh, Fasian, Montoro, Roaring Fork, Topers, Sons & Brothers and Zinga Wines. Ferment is open from 11am to 8pm Tuesday to Saturday and by appointment on Sundays with all wines for purchase. Please note that our cellar door tasting are from 11am to 5pm.

Ferment offers the opportunity to taste fine local wines from the smaller boutique wineries of the region. The selection is surprisingly large and very, very good, and the environment is friendly and comfortable. Our host Simon was extremely knowledgeable about the wines and the region, and a whole lot of fun. We bought a great selection of wines, some to share this weekend with our wine-loving friends, and some to cellar for a few years (depending on our will power, that is). Came back for a second visit for a superb gin and tonic, and even a 3rd time for a glass of yummy sparkling. A great experience.
