He will introduce you to the owners of the wineries and farms whom he counts as friends and to the hidden charms, like waterfalls, that are not on the tourist maps!

Phil took 6 of us on a wonderful half day tour of the County! We live in the County ( and had two couples visiting who have been here before) so it added a challenge to Phil planning his itinerary for us. We wanted the truly off the beaten path tour, and Phil delivered!!! We visited a wonderful, interesting ( off the beaten path) artist in his studio, saw snow volcanoes, held baby goats, picked up fresh eggs and honey, enjoyed cheese, chocolate and one wine stop. Travelled beautiful roads with Phil adding just the right amount of commentary. It was a thoughtful, well-planned excursion and we highly recommend Phil, who added depth and dimension for our guests while allowing us to relax and enjoy new experiences too. Thank you Phil!!!

While in Prince Edward County, my husband and I visited Andara Gallery on the recommendation of many. We're so glad we did! We were greeted by Andrew, one of the two artists displaying work in the uniquely striped gallery. He kindly explained the techniques of encaustic painting (his work) and also talked about the other artist's equally impressive photographic work (his wife's). In addition, we toured his century barn which was a treasure-trove of their work. We were charmed both by the art and by Andrew's personality and would highly recommend a visit and/or a hands-on workshop.

Learn by experience. The Waring House recreational cooking classes are suitable for all levels of cooking expertise, will expand your culinary repertoire, and teach you new tricks and chef techniques.
7. Curious Goat General Store
Sign your family or up to six adults for our one hour Bee Experience. Beekeeper Elis will show you beehives, help you make a beeswax salve and provide three types of honey to taste while you learn about the complex and hardworking nature of domestic bees, and why pollination is so important! Great for kids of all ages. Bookings in advance required. $20 per adult, $60 for families.
