Bonk museum consists of just two rooms in main building and one barn for children workshop during summer, and packed of items with an unbelivable story about incredible machines. It's like walking in 1930's but looking ahead in future. Opened daily from 10-18, it deserve seening! Learned also new things, which today we take it for granted, but back in those days were only dreams.

This car museum is located next to the car factory of Uusikaupunki. The factory has produced many different cars: Saab, Talbot, Porsche, Fisker Karma, Mercedes-Benz...
The museum has three large exhibition halls and over 100 vehicles including cars, motorbikes, mopeds and some airplanes. The collection includes some specialties, e.g. Maxwell Tourabout (1907), Chevrolet fire truck (1931) and Korvensuu (1913), the first car ever manufactured in Finland.
We loved this museum!

Uusikaupunki=Nystad ( new city in swedish). Echivalent also in finnish language. Althrough old, everything is corky and carefully taken care, and is been quite representative atraction for the small city of Uusikaupunki ( abt 15000 inhabitants by 2010). Pictures attached speak for themselfs.

Kävimme täällä kaveriporukalla kaverin veneellä. Samoihin aikoihin tuli kuljetus vesibussilla Uudestakaupungista, joten liityimme opastetulle kierrokselle heidän mukanaan ja nautimme lounasta. Kierroksella kerrottiin hyvin saaren historiasta ja kierroksen päätteeksi pääsi käymään ylhäällä majakassa. Majakasta oli hulppeat näkymät. Kierroksen ja lounaan hinta ei ollut paha siihen nähden, että ruoka oli hyvää ja pääsi majakkaan, johon ei muuten pääse.

The house shows how the wealthy people lived in Uusikaupunki over 100 years ago. Upstairs there is a small maritime history exhibition connected with Uusikaupunki. A short and interesting lesson of ancient living.
