So most important the staff are lovely! We actually got blocked by a herd on the trail and had to call the office for a suggestion as we didnt want to break the rules and go off trail. But thats what they told us to do!
It was around 50 dollars for three of us with extra food which I was glad we bought as the animals were hard to resist. Especially when my four year old niece is yelling to feed the babies! A lot of the animals run to the car so you have to drive carefully. They will stick their heads in the window if youre not quick enough especially the ostrich and zebras. Took us about two hours to go thru. The park is quite large. I thought we were almost done then saw a sign saying we were a quarter of the way thru. It is well worth the money. Again, drive carefully and enjoy a few laughs!

One block from the hall square, there is this historical house of the Perkins family, a beautifully restored Victorian house. The little creek runs behind it and is bordered by a greenway. The 1/4 mile long footbridge has been maintained and is a nice walking path in the shaded park. The whole area is clean and well maintained.

Adrenaline Rush Zip Line Tours

Reviewed By Kager727 - Harker Heights, Texas

What a beautiful zip tour through the trees! Everyone was very friendly and very concerned about safety but they want you to have fun as well. They will even teach you how to go upside down if you want (which my boys ages 10 and a very close 13yr old) took advantage of many times. You fly over ponds and trees and must yell "woo hoo" over that line! Lol They also offer evening zips and parties as well. Mango the dog will guide you from zip line 8 if you choose to do them all. This was our first time zip lining and I think everyone had a good time. They are a bit off of the beaten trail but they will text you good directions. Go and have a good time. This is definitely fun for the whole family.

Maydelle Country Wines

Reviewed By ChristieP - Grapevine, Texas

You have to know where you're going to find Maydell Country Wines, but the trip is worth it! This is NOT your typical winery! They specialize in fruit wines, and the lemon, lime and peach were our favorites! While you're enjoying your wine, you can play with Daisy the Bassett hound, and May and Dell, the cats! There's also a friendly goat, but she has to stay outside! I'm always happy to support a family business, and this is a good one!
