Before Loch Raven was flooded, there were villages along its banks. We once attended an informative session at the Baltimore County Historical Society on the village and mills of Warren. Today, nothing can be seen, but the bridge across the reservoir on Warren Road is old and interesting architecturally. Likewise, the iron bridge on Paper Mill Road from the same era has been left in place while traffic moves along a relatively new modern span. The bridge along Dulaney Valley Road provides a better view of the lake, but the bridge itself is not scenic. In these days of keeping one's distance, a ride around the county and across the Loch Raven bridges is a great outing.

Quaint cottage-type shop, filled with beautifully hand-crafted pottery items. Great place to stop for a special gift or something to add to your own decor. Highly recommend!
