Falkenstein is a 13th century ruin on a mountaintop that King Ludwig II was proposing to turn into another fairytale castle when death intervened (I have my doubts about Bismark's role). Today it is a delightful tourist spot, a fairly stiff walk up, although all on tarmac road to the bar and restaurant, with the last 200 meters up steps with railings.
Don't forget to admire the designs for the projected castle inside the restaurant.

Up through the steep terrain on a cable car (gondola) to the beautiful ski lift. Took the lift to the top of the area. Beautiful hiking and we enjoyed watching the gliders take off. Had lunch at the bottom of the lift before taking the cable car back down. Great food, beautiful views and lovely atmosphere. Was a very pleasant break from the traditional tourist attractions.

Wir waren imcAlpenbad Pfronten schwimmen. Das Bad selbst ist schön in die Jahre gekommen. Die Liegewiese ist nicht so geflegt. Der Eintrittspreis ist mit der Ermäsigungskarte ok. Der Ausblick ist dafür sehr schön. Von uns deshalb nur eine bedingte Weiterempfehlung.

Es hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht hier zu klettern. Wir waren 2x dort und beide Mal waren sie dort wohl unterbesetzt, jedenfalls zog sich die Anmledung/Einführung usw. ziemlich bis wir endlich loslegen durften. Die Angestellten waren zwar kompetent aber doch etwas überfordert vermutlich waren sie unterbesetzt.
Das Klettern macht aber sehr viel Spaß und hat verschiedene Pfade mit unterschiedlichem Schweregrad.

Wir waren zum Frühstück im Lausfehl. Echt empfehlenswert. Sekt, Kaffee, Saft, Brot und Brötchen, Käse ud Wurst, Marmelade , Birchermüski, etc.
man kann schön draußen sitzen, der Service sehr nett. Super genütlich und lecker und mit 8.50€ pro Person preislich voll ok!
