Governor Harry W. Nice Memorial Bridge

Reviewed By Bar2nE - Asheville, United States

US Route 301 wends it’s way from Richmond to near Annapolis to Baltimore passing through some beautiful unspoiled countryside in Southern Maryland and the Northern Neck of Virginia. The lovely old “301” bridge, recently named Harry W Nice Memorial Bridge, crosses the Potomac River between the two states. On the Virginia side, there is a lovely unmarked water front park just after the bridge traveling from MD. Crossing from VA into MD, there is an excellent small welcome center with some nice exhibits and a wealth of traveler information.
