Pinckney Bend Distillery

Stop by and spend some time tasting on a variety of products and touring our a working micro-distillery. We are open 7 days a week from Noon to 6pm

We visited this quaint little river town after reading about the Pinckney Bend Distillery in the St Louis newspaper. I have had a few gin cocktails in my life I would never say I loved gin, until now! Their gin is flavorful but is missing the bitterness that some gins have and paired with their unique Hibiscus Tonic Syrup this is a taste of paradise. Though their main focus is gin they have branched out to vodka and whiskey offerings as well. We have enjoyed watching them grow and develop from their tiny little distillery and showroom to the larger distillery across the street. What keeps us coming back is their friendly staff and enthusiasm, oh yes and the G & T's too!

Astral Glass Studio and Gallery

Reviewed By Multitony - New haven, mo

New Haven is smaller than Hermann and sometimes I have friends drop in to see the glassblowers doing glassblowing demonstrations on the weekends. One thing Hermann doesn't have is a group of artists creating art for people to watch and buy pieces in their shop. They do a very entertaining show and also explain how the pieces are made. On the day we were there, one of the kids got to blow an ornament with the help of one of the glassblowers. What an amazing experience to watch them blow the molten glass and make it into a bunch of different products like wine glasses, vases, platters, and jewelry. Well worth the time to stop in New Haven and check them out.

Bommarito Estate Almond Tree Winery

Small boutique style winery, with award winning wines produced from estate grown grapes. Family owned and operated. Specializing in Norton, and a wine selection of up at least 7 wines, including a Norton Port. Outdoor seating available with scenic views. Indoor seating in the winter months with a fireplace. Food available in the Sept and October months.

We visited this winery recently for the first time, even though we've driven by and seen the sign quite a few times. The winery itself is on the smaller side inside with just one area to taste at; which was fine the day we were there because our group was the only ones there. Most of us are sweet drinkers and most of their wines were dry so we only sampled 3. Didn't check out the outside area/view since we didn't really find anything that made us what to sit down and enjoy the area. The staff was incredibly nice so I would recommend to those that enjoy a dry wine.

Kuenzel Valley Winery New Haven Mo

Reviewed By Tim O - New Haven, Missouri

The next time you are in the eastern Missouri River Wine Country, Kuenzel Valley Winery should be added to your list. Friendly atmosphere couple with great wine. This winery just opened - however the owners have been winemaking for close to 20 years, and the quality shows. If you get a chance, try their mint tea wine. Also, they are only open on the weekends from April through October.

Interesting memorial to the Mountain Man who made Missouri home. Nice shelter overlooking the river and the river walk.
