My wife and I had an overnight stay in Murrurundi & yesterday visited this facility. It is well worth a visit to have a browse through their interesting display of quality products and the Art Gallery. Two very cheerful & friendly young ladies served us up one of the best Coffee's ever.

Eye of the Needle Walk

The view at the lookout of this walk is stunning! The walk up isn't too bad - fairly steep. A few big steps at some points and the "needle" does get fairly narrow but my 7 and 9 year old managed it just fine. There were lots of rocks for them to climb on which they loved and my hubby had our 7 month old in a carrier. The way down was a bit scary for me - lots of loose rocks and gravel but everyone else was fine. It's 100% worth the hike for view!
