Blues Creek is tucked away on a back road off hwy 36 west of Delaware. Take Ostrander Road north and turn left at the first opportunity on Fontanelle Road. Don't go too fastor you'll miss the unassuming entrance gates to Blues Creek on the south side of the road at 9627. I had to turn around and go back. The gravel road goes down hill and passes a small parking lot for a trail. The road then crosses a bridge and winds up to the main parking lot and the restrooms (clean with flush toilets and accesibility), the sledding hill, playground, shelter, and pond. There were plenty of brochures at the information station but they were all for the entire preservation park system. Fortunately I had picked up individual maps for each park when I visited Deer haven Preserve. The map came in handy because none of the trail junctions were signed. I would think that would be a worthwhile expenditure. Anyway, you can hike just to the top of the sledding hill or link loops to make a circuit of the entire park. Trails are dirt and gravel or mowed, multi surface only around the playground and shelter area. Having spent time pushing both kids in strollers and grandparents in wheel chairs, I would say that strollers would be fine because of the generally flat terrain. A wheelchair would fine for a picnic at the shelter and watching grandkids play or fish but would be an ordeal beyond the central area.

The place is small, but there are a lot of Honda products displayed. Honda Jet, ASIMO, old cars and motorcycle. If you have a Honda, this is a great place to visit and learn Honda’s history. You need to make a reservation in advance and it is free. It probably takes 30 minuets if you are hurry, but need at least one hour to go through.

This is a nice quiet place to take a walk or enjoy the waters. There isn't much boating or fishing going on here on a regular basis, but the walking path around the reservoir is a wonderful 2 miles total. At sunset you can see the fish jumping out of the water to get the bugs! It's super cool!

The animals here at the Sunrise Animal Sanctuary are well cared for! The cats have a wonderful house and the mascot is huge and adorable! Please donate to their cause or stop in to drop off a donation personally and help them out!

The historic courthouse for Union County is located in Marysville Ohio.
This historic courthouse is used for official court business so you'll have to go through security to go inside the historic building. My wife and I talked to the guard about the old jail door on display in the lobby area but we didn't go inside past security, instead we walked around the courthouse lawn and saw the Union County Veterans Memorial out front.
Back when everyone had pride in America, they built buildings like this.
