Ensemble Theatre

Reviewed By Maria S - Canberra, Australia

We went to see the play "Lip Service' at the Ensemble Theatre in Kirribilli. I was impressed. We got a drink at the bar before the show. The Theatre was well designed, the space well used, the seats wide and comfy, great view of the stage and enough floor space for the set to meet the demands of the performance. All in all a great night.

Jeffrey Street Wharf

This is the best view of Sydney and for that ultimate shot with Sydney Opera House in the back ground and the magnificence of the Harbour Bridge, this is not beaten.
Midday to early afternoon is the best time for photography.
Walk up to Kirribilli for plenty of good dining options. The park underneath the bridge is great for picnics - plenty of shade.

Hunter Valley Wine Tour

Reviewed By bchgrrrl - Redondo Beach, California

Four great wineries on the tour, and just enough time to taste some cheese and chocolate along the way. The tour experience could have been more engaging. Would have appreciated introductions to everyone on the tour, more knowledge sharing about the area on the drives up and back, etc. Tasting room staff made the trip, while the guide was nice, but lackluster.

Dr Mary Booth Lookout Reserve

Few people know about it so that's a huge plus - quiet and peaceful and wonderful views of the Opera House, Harbour Bridge and the CBD, normally you could be by yourself but unfortunately it will be packed on NYE so the solitude will disappear.

Coco Chocolate

Reviewed By outsidethesquare - Sydney, Australia

You don't have to travel to Paris to find a Beautifully presented chocolate salon with the freshest, loveliest chocolates. No, looking like it has been picked up from Paris, and dropped down in Kirribilli is Coco Chocolate. Everything in this shop is top notch from the hand printed curtain in the window to the hand made chocolate creams, shards of chocolate embedded with dried raspberries and hot chocolate. At Easter, the eggs are exceptional, but soon disappear, so get in early. The owner is an exceptional artisan. Her chocolate is so refined, no filler here, just put chocolate. She is a treasure and this shop is her jewel box. Previously, she has been named Britain's top chocolate maker and I believe she is Australia's top chocolate maker. There is no higher praise.
