The 6 Best Things to do in Kato Patisia, Attica

August 20, 2021 Emerita Lamoureux

Once known for smog, traffic and tacky architecture, Athens is a city reformed thanks to fortunes brought by the 2004 Summer Olympics. Spotless parks and streets, an ultra-modern subway, new freeways, an accessible airport and all signs in perfect English make the city easily negotiable. Meriting more than a stopover en route to the islands, sophisticated Athens sites include many pillars of Western history, from the Acropolis to the Temple of Olympian Zeus, as well as treasures in the National Archaeological Museum.

Greek brunch class with Greg

super upgrade because you asked it , i will make the experience more Greek and with no secret's in the recipies I promise!!. We will start by making from the very beginning a pastry with our hands ,as my grandfather used to make, after we will cook some spinach as the Greeks do to make some "SPANAKOPITA" spinach pie with pastry .while we are waiting for the first snack to come out from the oven. We taste a Greek coffee and learn why Greeks are so obsessed with it. Then the main course of our baking class. We learn from step one to make a "PEINIRLI " and we add in ingredients of our own choise. A short break to eat our handmade peinirli. Then return to kitchen for may be the best dish of all the Greek puffy donuts or if you prefer "LOUKOUMADES" we say goodbye with the most traditional Greek way. What else a glass of ouzo! (come with an empty stomach )
