Cambodia’s Kampong Chhnang floating village

Reviewed By MartaAure - Shanghai, China

I went on a tour to the floating village from Siem Reap. It was truely an intresting experience, as i got to see how people can have such a different lifestyle from what we are used to. Everything is well organized and is actually pretty easy to get there (just hire a tuc tuc driver for a day) and then a tour is already planned for you! I even went on a boat cruise on a floating jungle, watched some monkeys and crocoodile, ate a whole-crocodile based meal and enjoyed the sunset on a boat on the lake! Really a delightful day!

Andong Rossey is a village halfway between Phnom Penh and Battambang if you travel in these two tourists attraction town. if you travel from Phnom Penh to Battambang about just only 2:30 hours on your left-hand side off by paved between old stadium and city hall just hading straight hill then left about 1km you see nay house stand scale and every house with pottery. they work from 7:ooAM to 10:40 am then start at 14:00. if you take the bus you going to miss these unique places, best take your private car to do a day trip is best, stop these two ciies, Odoung, Pottery place, Kampong Loung floating villages on Tonle sap Lake and pottery to your destinations. I do recommend a day trip.

Tonle Sap River

Reviewed By Vigswaminathan - Singapore, Singapore

Our last night in Phnom Penh. So, a river cruise to watch the sunset was a must do while we were there. The best part was our hotel, Okay Boutique Hotel, had its own boat and for some room packages, the river cruise comes as a package with transportation to and fro. For those who have not made any arrangements - no problem. Just walk along sisowath quay near to sunset around 4ish pm and there are !Any boats offering a sunset cruise. The closer it is to sail off time and less full the boat is, the better the deal to negotiate. Of course, if you wanted a full dining experience, there are some that are more professional and comes at a cost. Overall, the sunset cruise is a nicest and most optimised in terms of cost and time spent as after the sunsets, there isn't really much to see in the night.
