Septenary

We decided to visit several wineries just recently. This winery is set in a beautiful area with an old colonial home , several supporting facilities and a fascinating history of owners. This is the first time that we sat down for a wine tasting and had someone bring their wines to us. The uniqueness did not stop there, as you are sitting a in a pool house area, overlooking a beautiful pool and really magnificent well groomed grounds and hills. Looking around, you can envision a life back in the 1800s on a Virginia plantation. So if you are in south central Virginia, stop by. You will be glad you did.

Enjoyed the red and white wine flights. Cabernet Franc and Petite Verdot were favorites. Friendly staff and not over-crowded.
